One of the most unique dining experiences in the DMV just launched at Frederick Community College. 200 Monroe is a student-run, chef-instructed dinner restaurant open Thursday evenings from 5–8:30 PM. The three-course prix fixe menu runs $40–$48 and is designed by HCTI students under the guidance of professional instructors. It's genuinely excellent, refreshingly affordable, and one of those only-in-Frederick experiences you'll want to tell people about.

And that's not all — Ekiben (Baltimore's beloved Taiwanese-inspired street food spot) is making its way to 500 N Market Street downtown, Atlas Restaurant Group has announced four new dining concepts coming in 2027, and a new retail incubator has launched at 22 S Market Street inside the historic Federated Charities building, giving emerging local entrepreneurs a launchpad in the heart of downtown.
